It’s happening more and more these days that a documentary director is expected to take responsibility for camera, audio, lighting and editing. This workshop, led by two experienced documentary filmmakers with broadcast credits with BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Sky, will give you the confidence to tackle all that is required of the single-person crew.
Practical Film Directing – Shoot A Scene! New Dates To Be Confirmed
Ever wanted to know what it feels like to direct a film? On this hands-on workshop, you learn all about shots, storyboards, where to place a camera, how to shoot a scene and how to direct actors. Everyone gets to direct a scene from a well known movie in a film studio with two professional actors using professional digital film camera and lighting equipment. DVD of shot scenes provided. MAX of 8 PLACES. Run by the writer / director / producer team behind CREDO, an indie feature released by Hollywood Studio. The team have also made and sold shorts that have been broadcast in over 40 countries. Price £100 (£90 for students).
